Blackwood Jewel

$665.00

The fine-grained Tasmanian blackwood, a commonly grown exotic tree, lends itself a deep rich finish.  Here it is enhanced by a single ring of brilliantly polished paua (New Zealand native abalone) from the cool waters of the deep south.  The dark base is crafted from ebonised walnut, another exotic common in New Zealand.  The blend of these natural products can remind us of the blends and mixes we find in life; sometimes something so contrasting can add so much.

This product has been carefully finished in environmentally friendly natural oils and waxes.

This wooden urn is handcrafted and a unique piece of work created by a New Zealand master craftman.

How Cremation Jewellery Works

ABOUT CREMATION PENDANTS

The death of a loved one or special pet can be difficult to handle. One way to commemorate and honour your loss is to create a special keepsake called cremation jewellery. A part of your loved one will always be with you, close to your heart. Even if you have not chosen cremation, our pendants can be filled with a small amount of earth from the burial site, a lock of hair or bits of dried flowers from a funeral arrangement.

Cremation pendants are simple to create, but the assembly process may be emotionally difficult. In the end you have a piece of jewellery that is not only beautiful, but it will give you the opportunity to keep your loved one close to you and share treasured memories forever.

Each My Angel pendant is presented in a black velvet hinged gift box and every order comes with a My Angel filling kit. The kit includes: small funnel, tweezers, toothpick, glue, polishing cloth and instructions.
