“It is only because we love so intensely, that we grieve so hard”
About Us
From personal loss has grown a New Zealand business that prides itself on personal, friendly service. “You have been through enough grief to be purchasing from My Angel, I do not want to make it worse!” says owner, Denise Coy.
Launched on the 28th March 2011 as a result of personal grief, My Angel has grown to be New Zealand’s largest supplier and stockist of Cremation or Keepsake Pendants. In 2018 urns were including in the range with the aim to offer a range that is different or unique and well priced to New Zealand.
Following the stillbirth of their daughter Angela, My Angel was originally created as an online store for baby loss gifts, however it soon changed into a cremation jewellery store, and now an online urn and jewellery store. The range grew from the original one pendant, Angela’s Heart, to now having over 300 different styles to choose from.
Pet Pendants and Pet Urns were added to accommodate for a growing market of pet cremations. Being animal lovers themselves, Denise and Vaughan understand how a pet is a member of the family and is important to memorialise. Their own children have a pendant with fur from their family cat that sadly passed away. Having the pendant certainly helped their son with his grieving process.
My Angel is a homebased business run by Vaughan and Denise. Their home office in The Lakes, Tauranga is set up to welcome people in to view, try on and purchase jewellery, however an appointment is required. Between work, voluntary and family committments Vaughan and Denise may not always be in the office, so if you would like to come and view pendants or urns, please contact them to arrange a time.
100% THERE FOR YOU
We hope to help anyone grieving – parents, children, siblings, uncles, aunties – anyone who lost someone they loved dearly, where someone who has passed leaving a hole in their heart and lives. I aim to provide quality products that are meaningful and special. Having a cremation pendant has helped me and my family remember our daughter and sister, and I hope you gain the same comfort as we did.
